My 10 month old chihuahua wont stop bleeding. why?

she is in heat and will bleed for probably the next 2 weeks. Keep her away from all male dogs and only allow her outside on a leash. She will NOT die- your friend is a moron. You should NOT breed her. You should get her spayed in 4 weeks and then she will never be in heat again.
